The Importance of Horses in Human History:
From early days, horses have been used to help humans on a huge amount of things. From simply moving around until fighting in wars. The horses are a very important, even crucial, point in human History.
During medieval times, with chivalry, even further into the past, with great kingdoms that have done very large scaled raids. For instance the Roman Empire, the Macedonian, the Persians, the French Kingdom, and all those kingdoms that built our History have the use of this animal as an aspect in common. Believe or not, in the First Great War horses were largely used in the trenches, in the fields, for transporting supplies, ammunition and wounded soldiers. Nowadays, as in the past, they are mainly used in agriculture, for example pushing the equipment for preparing the soil on the fields. Also, carrying us in their backs in order to round up the cattle, goats, sheeps and other animals. Carts were also pushed by horses, which were commonly used in big journeys. Finally, our police force still uses horses during their patrols. Without these animals, human life would be quite more difficult. For sure affecting the domestication of other animals.
